Home sweet home

On our way from South America to Asia we managed to fit in a week long stopover in the UK. This was partially to attend my graduation, but also to swap clothes and have a bit of travel recovery (it can be exhausting moving all the time you know)!!!

Staying in one lovely familiar place was just the medicine I needed. I spent about two days asleep!! It was amazing to see my wonderful family and catch up with all my friends in Thame and London (and also to catch up on some sleep). My PhD graduation was a combination of boring (due to length) and stressful (getting there on time), but great to see old faces and have my family there to cheer me on!! Plus the robes we're pretty cool - I just wish I got to wear them for longer!!

Unfortunately I really didn't take many photos of my week at home... But here are a couple of graduation snaps!!
